14,500 Children        2000 Schools

Your donation covers many, but not all, of the child's school expenses. Community and family contributions are essential to complete the support, resulting in education for the child and self-reliance for the village.

The administration of the scholarship program reflects our commitment to providing essential support without compromising local values, traditions, and systems. Teachers within the school districts are directly responsible for the first tier of the screening process to identify which children are in need of support. There are representatives of the program in each of the 2000 schools we currently serve and there are representatives in each province's Education Office. Administrative costs of the program remain low, and it is the expectation that the program will be managed independently at the local level in the future.

Today the Education for Development Foundation provides scholarships to students in all 19 provinces in the northeast of Thailand. The generosity of donors today allows more than 14,500 children every year to continue their education.

I wish to support the education of a child.
