Darunee Newsletter No. 19 1999 Scholarship Report As or 1999, we are pleased to inform you that as of September 30, 1999, we could offer the under-mentioned number of scholarships. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all the donors for enabling our students to continue their studies. It is a pleasure to give this report. The number of 7th grade (1st year of junior high school) students to receive scholarships surpassed 5,000. We hope this number will continue to expand. It is also critical that we continue to support our present students who are in their second and third year of junior high school. Our next goal is to reach 7,000 scholarships for each year of junior high school. We hope to expand awareness of the situation in Thailand and Lao PDR, and educate people about the opportunity to give an education and a better life with a Darunee donation. JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
